The Academy of Qualitative Research was established for the purpose of activating qualitative research methods and encouraging qualitative research activities in various academic fields such as nursing, education, sociology, social welfare, etc.
The Academy of Qualitative Research has been developed based on the Korea Center for Qualitative Methodology, which was formally accredited by the Asia Center of the International Institute for Qualitative Methodology in 2000, and is based on the Korea Qualitative Research Association, which was launched in 1998 to promote systematic qualitative research. In 2011, we established the "The Academy of Qualitative Research" in order to promote cooperation and development with relevant domestic and overseas academic societies. We have been playing a central role in the research activities of domestic and international qualitative researchers.
The activities of The Academy of Qualitative Research include publishing qualitative research publications, academic research support projects, academic exchange through academic conferences, holding regular academic seminars, publishing and translating books related to qualitative research.
